PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Product conveyed: Empty P.E.T. bottles, small bottles and plastic cups.
    Any products with neck rings.
  • Product format: From 0.25 to 2 litres of various shapes.
  • Capacity: Variable according to the format of the product conveyed.
    Not however less than the capacity of the blowers or
    the enbloc units.
  • Slopes achievable: Maximum 20° (systems already built).
  • Lengths available: Variable according to requirements.
    For example:
    curvilinear and sloping routes of up to 80
    metres with three 0.37 kW motors (depending on the layout).
  • Drive unit: 0.37 kW, each controlled by an inverter.
  • Optionals: switches, junctions and overload unloader units.
  • Support: Under-ring.
    In stainless steel.

ORIGINS of the SYSTEM

The Positive Conveying System (S.T.P.), invented and patented by BANDIERI SYSTEM, is the only effective alternative to the traditional air system for conveying and collecting empty PET bottles and containers.

Originating from an initial patent dating back to 1990, years of designing, perfecting and researching were followed by further patenting before the system was first used industrially in the year 2000.

DESCRIPTION ARRANGES POSITIVE CONVEYOR

The revolution brought about by this system lies in replacing the air conveyor with the innovatory mechanized conveyor which moves any products with neck rings. Eliminating the fans has brought about numerous advantages; most importantly a considerable energy saving. For example, the traditional air system requires a 2.2 kW motor for each fan while the S.T.P. allows a 0.37 kW motor powered by an inverter to be used, thereby ensuring that costs are reduced six-fold or more.

Other advantages include no fan maintenance. This means that the filters do not need to be changed each week, with a consequent reduction in labour costs and idle times.

Use of the Positive Conveyor also allows pollution due to dust being moved by the forced air to be reduced, and ensures that the 'format change' operation is considerably simplified or totally eliminated.
Another important advantage of installing the S.T.P. is the considerable improvement in the place of work as noise pollution is reduced, space in the factory and production area optimized thanks to the possibility of creating overhead routes sloping up to 20°, and installing switch units and/or junctions in line.
